oh by the way mum - and anyone reading this - you should go to my myspace page (www.myspace.com/mangan_j) and look at my latest blog. it contains 2 youtube videos that are absolutely amazing. dooo itttt =]
Haha Grace - it's not Mads it's me (that's phone photo quality for you!) and no, I didn't, but I will in future. It's not a fashion I'd recommend for everybody, but I think I carry it off quite nicely.
Mads is daughter no 1 (18 - that's her commenting above, the cheeky brat), and James is her boyfriend, who's in several bands, but this was his jazz / improv one, Lightly Toasted. Just piano, bass, drums and three Jameses - they are all amazing.
OK Mads I will go and look at the vids now - and remember I can stalk you just as well as you can stalk me!
Hi Mangan - I have to post this here because I can't leave a comment on your Myspace page, not being a member and not being bothered to set myself up.
Anis Mojgani is amazing. Grand Slam poetry, eh? He uses many naughty words, but I think he uses them well most of the time. Speaking of which, so do you and your FIENDS on your Myspace page. Just as well I know you are all lovely.
The booze cruise sounds very naughty too. A boat full of university music students and an open bar? Oh dear oh dear where did I go wrong?
Wow Margie! You look so young! I wasn't sure if that was you or your daughter!!
Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been in the doldrums/lazy. I need the SUN! The weather here sucks. Royally. See how whiny I am? That's why I am staying away from my blog! LOL.
You have a lot of patience to grow such graspable fringes, and I say (in a hoity-toity accent), you do look marvelously dashing, a right Charley Farley, what?. I tried for a beard once but failed miserably; I am destined to be a coot, and although the hairless life was not plan A, plan B will do nicely, thank you very much.
I’d love to go into the philosophy of facial hair, and why folk underline their noses, but I gotta dash. Toodaloo.
Too private a person to be a good blogger! Happy most of the time, married with three fabulous girls, and a life filled with the sorts of great and ordinary things we all do. Life here is chaotic at times but rarely dull. Would love to find more time to write.

Sue, many thanks, but it's all down to the moustache I'm afraid. I find facial hair is very flattering.
OK I'll keep the beard, but minimal
Not even the outsize moustache can hide those eyes, Margie...but yes, the tache cetainly gives you a certain je ne sais quoi!
Koos, your facial hair definitely suits you too ;-)
That was you in the picture? You look like a teenager.
I have a post up in a couple of days, I have to go out of town.
Hope you are well. xx
Good Grief...
It's Ringo!
It puts a whole new meaning to "being on the phone"...

Strange, I could've sworn I posted a comment.
Anyway, what I said was that moustache is sure to become a trend.
It's like a cross between Hercules Poirot and Sgt. Pepper. As they say in gai Paree, tres tres chic!
