Banjo and Fiddle
I'm still feeling sadly inadequate not having a dog of my own to share around these parts, so I've borrowed a couple for you. Madeleine just sent me these pics of James' Jack Russells. The phone camera strikes again!
Banjo at the keyboard. Naturally.
James with Fiddle. They have the same hairdresser.
All together now ... aaaahhhhhh ....

Oh the first picture is so adorable! Would be a perfect promotional picture: the soulful artist at his instrument, staring into the distance, lost in creative inspiration.
A banjo playing the piano...
But of course!
Awww, now ain't he just the cutest!
aaaahhhhhh
muahahaha i get to cuddle them all, muahaha
They are just so cute! 'Snot fair...as Sindy would say! Don't tell her this but I made the decision long ago that my next dog would be a Jack Russel. I love them for their spunk and feisty natures. These two are a particularly cute model though...all whiskery like little old gentlemen...or young and cool like James too, I should say!
ahhhhhhhhhh...most adorable adoptee dog Margie!!
Aahhhh. Just oozing cuteness.
xx

Awe! cutie doggy!
That is a dastardly moustache!, a handle-bar indeed!. I hope you have shaved it off dear girl!..
Hi Margie, just dropping in to see if the news is in from your part of the world. Alas, much as I adore these cuties, nothing new in the annals of my favourite Aussie. Still, I hope it means you're happy and busy and enjoying life to the max. Love to you all, Vally xx
PS, the coffie in Sas van Gent where I took my 'signs' has probably been smuggled in....
Margie! I have been a most deplorable blogger lately! I wish I had some dramatic adventure to tell you of, but truly I have just been bogged down in work! Adorable pics... and I haven't a dog just now either so the occasional snap of Jean-Luc Tete du Poulet will have to suffice!
Hi Marige...see I can't seem to spell your name any other way! You and Gypsy are becoming conspicuous by your absence and we miss you madly. Do let us know that all is well in your world. I have to write you an email too because I want to ask you a publishing question. Till soon then...Vallyp
Vale it's like me spelling my name Dlae...do it constantly.
Miss you, too!
